Components

Audio Chains

inTone allows you to route any of your sound card inputs into any audio chain. Each of them features gain knob, FX section, volume fader, bypass, mute and solo buttons, AUX sends and individual recorder. Any chain can be routed to any sound card output or inTone`s Master Chain.

Virtual Instrument Chains

Plug in your keys or pads and use virtual samplers and synths in your live shows. Add sound of multiple virtual instruments to your mix at the same time.

Track Player

inTone Track Player is an advanced MP3/AAC/WAV/AIFF file player. It allows you to create playlists, change speed and tuning of songs and loop the playback. Sound of the tracks can be also effected.

Recorder

inTone allows to record the audio signal of any track at almost any point of the signal path. Record the whole mix, record in the Master Chain or simultaneously record multiple tracks of a live gig to mix them later. You may even record unprocessed audio, or even add a Track Recorder module to any place in the Effect section.

FX Section

Every track features 8 audio effect slots. You can use any of 36 included inTone effects. Their list matches Audiffex Pedals - including dynamic effects, EQs, amp simulation, filters etc (usage limited for inTone2). You can also enlarge your collection by any Audiffex plugins - ampLion for guitarists, GK Amplification 2 for bassists, Guitar or Studio Line FX. Also you can use 3rd party VST, DirectX or AudioUnit plugins.

MIDI

To improve live performance comfort inTone can be remotely controlled by any MIDI controller. Connect any MIDI controller and decide, what parameters you would like to control live while playing. Turn knobs, drag faders, switch FX on and off or change presets. Anything you desire is possible.

Audiffex STA Effects Summing Tube Processors Plug In eLicense

It is not only hi-end professional studios with million dollar equipment, that have right to sound great. Audiffex brings you this set of five of tube effects plug-ins.

Summing Tube Amplifier (STA) mixes the wet and dry signals and it adds a nonlinear distortion resulting in more vintage sound. Primarily, this effect is designed to be used as an insert effect to fully exploit the summing circuit. The plugin has also a “Wet only” option when only the signal processed by the tube circuit is sent to the output. It allows to use the plugin also in a send bus.

Included effects

Believe it or not, the single knob of STA Preamp can give your mixes some extra value. Choose one of three types of tubes and control amount of saturation. STA Chorus adds your instruments a little warmth and tickeling vibe! Extra punch, meat, juice... Call it what you want, but STA Flanger gives it to you. If your sound is not spacey enough, take it to the universe with STA Phaser! And last but not least - STA Enhancer will make your mixes beautiful and bright.

Audiffex u73b Tube Vary-Mu Compressor/Limiter eLicense

About Audiffex - Audified

In 1999 they started production of audio software effects as Audifed. They were the pioneers in audio hardware emulations. They were the first who brought audio FX plugins to MacOS X. Audified did some of the first plug-ins for PowerCore, TC Electronic’s hardware accelerated DSP platform. They specialized in simulation of real world hardware effects, amplifiers and other studio gear. As the time went, they exceeded this area and Audiffex became a product line of audio FX and applications for musicians. A solid part of the Audified portfolio.

Unique and faithful emulation of an old German broadcast compressor/limiter unit U73b

U73b is great for mastering, mixing drums, bass, guitar, vocals and voice overs.

The U73b compressor/limiter was often used for mastering between 1960 and 1980. It is an all tube vary-mu compressor/limiter with adjustable release time option. Audiffex kept the circuit exactly as it was originally designed and only added input and output gain (before and right after compressor circuit) to help with proper adjustment of the compression. The plugin effect has been also supplemented with a VU meter and selectable side-chaining.

The compressor`s controls are very easy, but the effect of this unique device is audible at the same moment you turn it on:

Compressor/Limiter switch – is the upper U73b knob and it switches between Compressor mode (Kompr), Bypass (Durchschalt) and Limiter mode (Begr). The compressor mode has lower threshold setting and very gentle increasing ratio, in opposite, the limiter mode provides higher threshold setting with higher ratio but still with smooth knee.

Release time – the first three positions offer fixed release time, the other three positions (marked red) provide adjustable program content dependent release time option.

IN – adjust input gain before the compressor/limiter circuit

OUT – adjust output gain after the compressor/limiter circuit.

Sidechain – selects the signal source used for controlling the gain reduction.
