Multi-Timbral Sampler Instrument
Structure is a multi-timbral instrument with a built-in sample library and editor that enables you to combine, layer, and edit your samples. At its core, Structure has a powerful 128-level multi-timbral universal sound engine that can support up to 8-channel interleaved samples. With Structure, you can create complex, rich patches by blending together multiple samples and effects. Each patch can have an unlimited number of parts, and each part can consist of a single sample, multiple samples, a sub-patch, a MIDI processor, and audio and MIDI effects. All of these elements can be rearranged and tweaked for extensive sound experimentation.
Structure comes with a massive 37+GB premium sample sound library from AIR Music Technology. This comprehensive collection equips you with almost every instrument imaginable, and includes AIR Music Technology’s exclusive orchestral elements (strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion), acoustic and electronic drums (including Nashville Signature drum kits captured from sessions at the famed Blackbird Studios), hand and pitched percussion, pianos and keyboards (including a new high-definition grand piano), choral sounds, guitars, basses, synth pads, synth leads, surround sounds, and atmospheres.

The BBassV Electric Bass comes after several years of R&D and Chocolate Audio has set a new benchmark in terms of playability and sound.
This virtual instrument is derived from a Yamaha BB415 5-string electric bass, one of the few "non-classics" instruments because it has tons of character.
The concept behind the BBassV is to make playing a bass line via a MIDI keyboard simple again. Gone are the days when you need to learn by heart tons of playing techniques to craft a convincing track. With BBassV you don't run the risk of losing your creativity energy and musicality inspiration while working.
Three main articulations allow you to switch on the fly between Fingered (C0 via MIDI), Mute (D0) and Harmonics (E0).
BBassV sports three main Playback behaviors: Poly, which gives you the chance to easily play polyphonic bass lines, Mono, where each note triggers full sustain samples with intelligent auto-fretting and Legato, which enables the advanced legato and slide engine.
The Slide engine is the door to the life-like slide-to articulation: just play on the MIDI keyboard with two consecutive notes spread more than 3 semitones and making the second overlap the first and the magic happens.
Fretting is often overlooked in this type of instrument. It is one of the main reasons the same bass can sound very different when played by different players. Fretting is given special attention in the BBassV and goes a long way into making it even more life-like.
The Dynamics Diagram and editor will allow to switch On and Off any of the 4 sampled Sustain Dynamics + Ghost notes and set the Velocity values switching between these.
The EFX section has been tailored to the needs of the electric bass and made simpler and more effective (pun intended) at the same time. This is for quick and dirty tone-mangling, like the one a bass player would do with his own amps and pedals. Simple and powerful.
Compressor and Distortion pedals are followed by an Amp Emulator (use it to get crunchy tones) There is a custom IR Cabinet section), a 3-Band EQ explicitly fine-tuned for bass-heavy signals, and a modulation section with a choice of Chorus, Phaser or Flanger and a Delay section.
The Cab section shines with 172 custom cabinet + mic combination IRs we created on purpose for this instrument, using top of the shelf cabinets and mics placed in a pro studio with Neve, API and SSL mic preamps and EQs.

- Model 7 Grand PianoThe Model 7 grand piano was sampled from a outstanding example of a Yamaha C7 grand coda piano. Chocolate Audio's first idea was to sample another model, a CFIII, but when they went to the rental-house they totally fell in love with the C7 and chose it.
- Model 80 Electric Grand Piano
Sampled from a Yamaha CP80 compact electric grand, the Model 80 is a work of love and an homage to the sound that defined an era.
- Model D Grand Piano
The Model D grand piano was sampled from a Hamburg-made 1939 Steinway D274 grand coda piano. This particular piano has been in use in various venues in Italy and has been played and praised by many top-level international classical and jazz players.
- O.D.D. Grand Piano
Unusual Pianos you have been dreaming of having. Chocolate Audio already has four pianos in their product line, two of which are very sought-after top-notch models. They made the choice to release another stunning piano sample pack which was a difficult task to do, but it ended up being very rewarding in the end.
- Steinbach Upright Piano
When creating upright piano Instruments, it is very important deciding which upright piano to start from. When creating grand pianos, the choice is more limited, as there are fewer outstanding examples to chose from. Upright pianos are a totally different story, there are a multitude of choices. Chocolate Audio chose a piano capable of producing both a full sound and the on the edge of being slightly out-of-tune tones characteristic of so many historical recording of these types of pianos. They sampled a beautifully made italian upright piano built by Steinbach in Torino and placed it in a mid-size roomy studio surrounded by a plethora of microphones.
- Modern Retro Drums For Kontakt
Modern Retro Drums features 4 full drum kits sampled from a 1997 Sonor Designer kit played with sticks and hotords and a Tama Starclassics kit played with stick and brushes.
- Contemporary Vintage Drums
Contemporary Vintage Drums features 3 full drum kits sampled from: - Ludwig "Beatles" tribute kit (drum sticks used), - Ludwig "Beatles" tribute kit (brushes used), - 1977 Gretsch Concert Rock kit (drum sticks used).
- The Black Album Drums
The Black Album Drums is a drum library for BFD3 and Kontakt 5.5 (full version) inspired by the drum sound featured on the "Black Album" by Metallica from 1991. It features the kit played on that record, not just the same model, that exact kit (a 1980 Gretsch with Zildjian cymbals and a Tama Bell Brass snare).

This Baritone Guitar was sampled through two boutique guitar rigs in parallel (all with a perfect phase relationship) and a separate clean D.I. signal. So there is some Bi-Amping to add some additional juice if needed to your tracks.

Fazortan - Controlable Space Phaser created with the most advanced analog modelling techniques. You can think about Fazortan as of the exact copy of a retro phaser taken out from 70's and redone to become a virtual unit. But being the same sounding unit that provides primal functionality and sound of the original is where similarities end and where limitless scope of plugin comes to play. Bearing on mind only one Rate knob and a color switch on the front panel of the real phaser device, Fazortan from the first look at its GUI, presents itself as a completely new device that effectivelly expands capabilities of its origin.

Decimort - High Quality Bit Crusher with a complex and advanced signal processing algorithms, simulating the behaviour of the whole sampling path which exists in every AD/DA converter. Electronic music producers (especially in Hip-Hop) have always been aware that classic samplers (such as early Akai and EMU units) had a character and sound of their own. They added a "grit" and "colour" to the samples and loops they played back which made them sound "Fat" and sit well in a mix. This sound colouration was due to the encoding techniques, lower sample rates, lower bit rate and conversion circuits which these early samplers used. Decimort recreates this colouration and adds the vintage sampler magic to any loop, bass line or sound played through it. It also acts as the perfect bit crusher with filter.

Redoptor - High quality Vintage Tube Distortion with an exact emulation of a tube's circuits. The popularity of tube distortion units are as a result of their superiority over the solid-state fuzz distortions which are based on transistor clipper circuits. Tubes produce even and odd harmonics and naturally compress the signal. Transistors produce only odd harmonics and limit the sound.

Toraverb - Space Modulated Reverb is a concept algorithm reverb. When creating Toraverb, D 16 did not base it on any current reverb unit available in the market. They did not implement any “off-the-shelf” algorithm. Toraverb is not a classic type reverb unit like spring, room, hall or plate. Toraverb is a concept algorithm reverb. Using a set of easily accessible parameters, it allows the user to create practically ANY type of reverb.

Syntorus - Double Path Analog Chorus is a chorus effecting unit with a double delay line. It's capable of emulating almost every classic unit available. There are many different chorus effect plugins available on the market today. However, finding one which gives the classic analog chorus sound is easier said than done. Even on expensive units with advanced parameter controls, getting that vintage chorus timbre can be a challenge. With this in mind, D16 set out to create a plugin which would have a rich analog chorus similar to the effect found on classic synthesisers like the Solina, Synthex or Juno. This new effect is called Syntorus.

Phoscyon is a vintage analog modeled Bassline synthesizer with a unique low pass filter with an 18db/oct dumping and constant resonance amplitude throughout the entire frequency domain. The filter sounds phenomenal! Hear that squelch and you’ll swear its analog! Various vintage guitars were sampled with up and down strokes, multiple velocities and picking styles, some with chords and effects. Basses used were the Hofner 500 Bass (1963) and Rickenbacker 4001S Bass (1964). Drums included a rare 1960 Ludwig downbeat kit with Zildjian cymbals.
The recording equipment was just as equally meticulously acquired. Items included very rare EMI REDD tube and TG12345 recording desks, Fairchild limiters, EMI RS124 modified Altec compressors, and Studer J-37 tube multi-tracks, among other microphones, amplifiers, and other outboard units.
Having worked on multiple Beatles albums, project engineer Ken Scott was able to recreate from his direct experience, many of the unique techniques developed by the Beatles during their musical odyssey. The Fab Four virtual instrument utilizes a dedicated playback engine, the PLAY Advanced Sample Engine, which provides an easy searchable browser and the ability for users to customize the sounds.

- The period amplifiers used to record the electric guitars included the Fender Tan Showman (1963), Fender Bassman (1963), Vox AC30 (1963), Vox AC50 (1965), Vox Defiant (1966), Vox 730 (1966), Vox 7120 (1966), Fender Showman (1967) and the Fender DeLuxe (1967)
- Drums were all multi-sampled with up to sixteen velocity layers, left and right hand. The sounds were all matched to a particular style, e.g. A Day in the Drums, Ticket to Drums, Yer Drums
- Includes various keyboards
- The same kind of recording desks and preamps were used to record all instruments, including a very rare EMI REDD tube desk, EMI TG12345 desk (the same kind of desk used to record "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon"), and EMI REDD47 preamps
- The same kind of limiters (Fairchild) and compressors (rare EMI RS124 modified Altec) were used for dynamics control
- The same kind of Studer J-37 tube 4-track was used to record everything
- Instrument plays back via the PLAY Advanced Sample Engine, a dedicated audio engine/interface providing a powerful streaming engine
- All instruments listed in a single browser for easy navigation
- Stereo Swap allows the user to instantly swap the left and right channels. Mono from left, mono from right, or mono sum allow for instant conversion from stereo to mono

- Guitars (some costing over $200,000 each) played by Laurence Juber (Paul McCartney and Wings) include Gretsch Firebird (1959), Gretsch Tennessean (1963), Rickenbacker 360-12 (1965), Martin D-28 (1966), Fender Stratocaster (1956), Epiphone Casino (1965), Fender Telecaster (1951), Gibson SG (1960), Les Paul Goldtop (1957), Gibson J200 (1966), Hofner 500 Bass (1963) and Rickenbacker 4001S Bass (1964)
- Guitars were sampled with up and down strokes, multiple velocities and picking styles, some with chords and effects
- Most of the sounds would be impossible to create without all of the above equipment. For example, the "revostortion" guitar sound was created by feeding an Epiphone Casino guitar into one EMI REDD 47 preamp, and the output into a second EMI REDD 47 preamp, which is exactly how it was created originally by the EMI/Abbey Road engineers
- Drums played by Denny Seiwell (Paul McCartney and Wings) include a rare 1960 Ludwig downbeat kit with Zildjian cymbals (snare 5 x 14; toms 9 x 13 / 16 x 16; kick 22 x 14; Zildjan 20" crash ride; 18" crash medium; 14" Hi-Hat)
- Drums are all multi-sampled with up to 16 velocity layers, left and right hand. The sounds were all matched to a particular style (e.g. A Day in the Drums, Ticket to Drums, Yer Drums). We even recorded some heavily modulated cymbals through a Fairchild limiter for authenticity
- Keyboards include Baldwin Electric Harpsichord (Because I'm a Harpsichord), Clavioline (Baby I'm a Clavioline), Lucy in the Lowery, Strawberry Flutes, We Can Work a Harmonium, and other stringed instruments including Swarmandel Forever

- Includes a software version of ADT (artificial double tracking) with built-in tape simulator, created and programmed specially for this project.

The Eastwest Ministry Of Rock 2 was put together with one goal in mind: to create a virtual (software) instrument capable of producing sounds that could actually produce a hit record or film score without any live drum, bass, or guitar overdubs. The articulations and programming were all reverse engineered from actual performances. The 57 gigabyte collection features LIVE technology that enables multi-sampled drums to sound like a live performance.
Produced by Nick Phoenix and recorded at the Legendary EASTWEST Studios by Phoenix, Doug Rogers, and Rhys Moody, Ministry Of Rock 2 features some of the industries top players like Shane Gibson, guitarist with KoRn/Stork/Schwarzenator; Greg Suran, guitarist with Goo Goo Dolls/Avril Lavigne/Glee; Doug Rappaport, guitarist with Edgar Winter/Potent; and Tal Bergman, drummer with Billy Idol, LL Cool J, Rod Stewart, Terence Trent Darby, Joe Zawinul.
The drums for Ministry Of Rock 2 were recorded in EASTWEST Studio 1 on three large rock kits from DW, Gretsch, and Ludwig, along with 6 additional snares. Top vintage and modern gear from Neve, Neumann, Telefunken, AKG, Manley, Fairchild, Royer, Chandler and Meitner were employed for a legendary sound. Repetition samples were recorded for everything as well as extreme dynamics and three mic positions for drums (close + room, or close + compressed room) to dial in the desired sound and an ultra-realistic performance. Any drum from any kit can be selected to create a custom kit, plus there are 6 additional snare drums to choose from.
Ministry Of Rock 2 guitars were recorded on Fender Jaguar, Fender Telecaster Thinline, Carvin 7 String, Baritone, Gibson Les Paul, and Schecter 7 String through Fender, Divided By Thirteen, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Bogner and Vox Amps. Samples feature round robin, hammer on and pull off legato, sliding legato and dozens of other techniques. Dual channel recordings let you pick a wicked real amp sound or use the direct signal with popular plug-ins.
Ministry Of Rock 2 also includes all of the remastered content from Hardcore Bass and Hardcore Bass XP plus an all-new 5 string Musicman Stingray bass with 7000 samples and true legato.
