It has Mercury Magnetics transformers in it. This is 1 of 50 Chadwick Amplifiers built in this manner. These amps were built specifically for the introduction of the model at the NAMM show. It's serial CK013 and in Great Condition! There's a couple of scuffs on one top edge (see the picture) and a problem on the bottom where they didn't get the tolex right but it sounds great.
How great is this amp? Here's what some users on The Gear Page say about this amp built with the standard transformers:
CopperHead: "Chadwick is very versatile. Not a metal amp, the Chadwick will do unbelievable cleans all the way up to Lynch gain levels with a tubes screamer in front. Not at all what I would call "modern" or "metal". 80's tones is where it lives. Right in the middle of it's tonal spectrum, think Great White.Very punchy and clear. Powered loop. Loves pedals, gives them a full, lush quality that I've not heard in other amps. Very loud for 50 watts. Unique Gain, Drive, and Envelope controls for almost an infinite number of tones. There are two flavors of Chadwick. Chadwick I is a single channel, and the Chadwick II's are switchers.I own a Revolution Series One, and I just picked up this Chadwick Single channel, and I'm loving it so far. Very different tone than the Revolution or Krankenstein:"
DersertKev7: "I sold my ptp hand wired 1987x to get the Chadwick. The fact that it has a master volume control sold me on it! The rehearsal studio we use had one and after playing with it for a few hours was convinced. I had always pegged Krank as a purely Nu-Metal brand so plugging into the Chadwick for the first time I was expecting to be dissapointed. I loved my Plexi but was unable to use it in smaller venues due to the fact that it is probably the loudest 50w amp ever devised by the human race. The Chadwick just made sense for my situation. Our other guitarist uses one of their 1980 heads and that is amazing as well."
The Krank Chadwick 50W Tube Guitar Head single channel with gain, drive, envelope, volume and 3-band EQ. Krank Chadwick has great flexibility for stage and studio.
$799.00
It's serial DB1014 so it's an early Krank in New Condition! A Classic!
How great is this amp? Here's what some users on Ultimate Guitar say about this amp:
rcdsm: "I've been playing for 16 years: guitar and bass. I've owned/played the following: Fender Bassman, Fender Super Reverb, Fender Twin, Marshall JCM 800, Marshall JCM 900, Marshall TSL 60, Ampeg V-4, Ampeg VL1002a, Mesa Dual-Rectifier Solo, Roland JC-120, Peavey Deuce II, Peavey XXX and far too many combo amps to remember. Out of all the amps mentioned, I would choose the Revolution over them hands down any day of the week for anything"
FacEraser117: "The Krank Revolution 1 head is a 100 watt tube amp that has more balls than any other amp made today. This amp has two amazing channels, the Krank channel which has an extreme in your face metal tone and the clean channel is also great."
The Krank Revolution 100W Tube Guitar Head has 2 channels with separate volume and 3-band EQs. 2 separate master volume controls on the distortion channel for lead boosting with a footswitch. Presence control for Kleen and Krank channels. Proprietary sweep control on the distortion channel changes the overall values for the entire amp, giving you an expansive range of modern and vintage tonal possibilities. 4 - 12AX7 preamp tubes, 4 - 5881 power tubes. Line out; 4-, 8-, and 16-ohm outs; and footswitch control of channel and master volume selections provide the Krank Revolution with great flexibility for stage and studio.

They built Firehawk 1500 with total flexibility to meet the needs of performing guitarists. 1500 watts of pure power delivers enough volume to be heard on the loudest stages, while providing enough control so you can use your highest gain sounds on the quietest stages. Firehawk sounds amazing with both acoustic and electric guitars—so there’s no need for a separate acoustic amp. A full collection of ins and outs gives you all the connections you need. Use it as a stage monitor, in place of an ISO cab, or as a full-range amplification system for your pedal board or multi-effect.
Firehawk 1500 comes loaded with DSP, so you can create elaborate signal chains and custom presets. Delve into the largest collection of premium HD amp modeling, HD effects modeling and HD cab modeling in the Line 6 family. Choose from over 200 world-class guitar amp models and effects—including 50 HD models, classic POD and XT models, and more. And if that’s not enough, you can access 128 onboard presets designed by artists and Line 6 pros, or unlimited tones in the cloud via the Firehawk Remote app editor. So go ahead—create something truly original that’ll blow your audience away.
Featuring a full-range, flat-response 6-speaker amplification system, Firehawk 1500 delivers accurate tone reproduction in true stereo, mono or wet/dry/wet at any volume. The unique speaker configuration in Firehawk 1500 allows for a variety of mono or stereo setups – so you’ll hear your modeled tones and effects with crystal clarity. Plus, the speakers project a wide coverage angle—far greater than a typical combo amp—so everyone in the venue will hear the same tone you sculpted to perfection.
The Firehawk Remote iOS app and Android™ app provides a streamlined and modern graphic user interface that lets you control every aspect of your tone, craft elaborate signal chains, fine-tune hundreds of effects parameters, and more—all from your phone or tablet. Access a massive tone cloud and get the sounds you need in an instant. With Line 6 tone matching, you can match the guitar tone of any song in your music library—it's like have your own personal tone librarian. And did we mention it’s Bluetooth® enabled? Connect and stream your favorite songs at high volume.
After a long gig, you want to throw your gear in the van and hit the road. Amplifiers get stacked, rattled, and knocked around—not great for a fragile tube amp. They built Firehawk 1500 with a solid wood enclosure, so it’ll always be ready for your next gig. After all, it’s a guitar amp—not a museum piece.
The Powercab 112 active speaker system was specifically designed for use with modelers. Your amplification and speaker system is responsible for at least half of your tone and also determines how your modeling rig feels and responds to your playing—so why play through anything incapable of making your modeler sound as true to your intended tone as possible?
The Powercab 112 guitar speaker system for modelers looks, sounds, and responds like a professional guitar amplifier, because that is essentially what it is. In Flat Mode, Powercab 112 delivers a neutral frequency response from 70Hz to 20kHz with plenty of headroom. There is no need to adjust your modeler’s settings—your presets will sound just the way you expect them to. But what most clearly differentiates the Powercab 112 from other products is Speaker Modeling.
The sound of great amplifiers is due to the speaker as much as from the other components, yet until now no one has modeled an actual speaker driver alone, independently from the cabinet it happens to be loaded into. Line 6 has done just that by creating models of six classic and boutique speakers which drive a custom-designed hybrid coaxial loudspeaker. A lightweight cone and high-temperature 2" voice coil deliver the punch and dynamic response you expect from a guitar speaker, along with the wide range of a P.A. speaker. This design adds unparalleled authenticity to the speaker models, and consequently the sound of your amp modeler, preamp, or even your stompbox amp-simulator.
The Powercab 112 features a highly efficient 250-watt power amplifier capable of producing up to 125dB Peak SPL—enough volume to fill a small club or medium-sized venue. And Powercab 112 is constructed to withstand the rigors of the road, while also being compact and weighing a mere 35 pounds (16 kgs). There’s also an XLR output featuring optimized microphone emulation for direct connection to a P.A., and foldout kickstands facilitate angled backline placement or use as an angled floor monitor.
Although Powercab 112 Plus was engineered to deliver superb results with any modeler, it is the perfect sonic complement to Line 6 Helix® guitar processors, completing the chain—from guitar input to guitar speaker.
• 1 Combination Input Jack
• 250-watt amplifier delivers up to 125dB Peak SPL
• 70Hz-20kHz neutral frequency response in Flat mode
• 12" custom hybrid coaxial driver
• Rugged-yet-lightweight plywood cabinet with flip-out kickstands
• Curved plywood construction results in a cabinet that is solid yet lightweight
• 6 Speaker Emulations
• Choice of Flat (FRFR) or Speaker Modeling modes
• Does not include L6 Link/AES/EBU, USB audio interface, presets, display, impulse response support or MIDI I/O
