$399.95As the "c" appended to its name implies, the updated MicroBook IIc is now USB audio class compliant, which means that you can connect it to an Apple iPad with a standard Lightning to USB Camera Adapter (purchased separately) for studio-grade audio I/O for your iPad music and audio apps. If you are serious about the music you make with your iPad and laptop, the MicroBook IIc offers the perfect combination of excellent analog audio quality, studio-grade connectivity and rugged, ultra-portable design and construction.
When connected to an iPad, the MicroBook IIc is powered by a standard Micro-B-to-Type-A USB cable with attached AC power adapter (both included). This helps preserve maximum battery life for the iPad. When connected to a Mac or PC, the MicroBook IIc is bus-powered by the USB connection to the computer. No separate power connection is necessary.
The MicroBook IIc inherits all of the advanced features of the MicroBook II, including:
The MOTU MicroBook II mixer takes signals from its four inputs, plus output from your computer, and mixes them to an output pair, such as the main outs. You control the volume of each input. Better yet, you can adjust input volumes differently for each output pair. In other words, each output pair can have its own unique mix. For example, you might create a balanced mix going to your PA via the main outs, but bring up the guitar for the mix going to your stage monitors via the line outs, so you can easily monitor your guitar sound. You get a separate mix for main out, line out, and phones.
Use an iPad to control your MicroBook II mix. It's the ultimate hands-on experience: use TouchOSC software (sold separately) with a custom-designed template for your MOTU MicroBook II USB audio interface and enjoy hands-on control of all mixing, EQ and compressor settings. Refining your mix has never been this fluid and intuitive.
The included CueMix FX software for Mac OS X and Windows gives you graphic, on-screen control of the MicroBook II's on-board audio mixer, with up to four separate stereo mixes. For example, you can mix all the inputs to the main outs, but also mix them to the line outs with completely different levels than the main outs. Other advanced features include a tuner, oscilloscope, FFT/spectrogram, and phase analysis tools.
The MOTU MicroBook II interface includes AudioDesk, the workstation software for Mac OS X, which provides advanced recording, editing, mixing, processing, and mastering. AudioDesk delivers the power of modern digital audio workstation technology in an easy-to-use, inspiring multitrack recording experience. Together, AudioDesk and the MicroBook II audio interface transform your computer desktop into a pro recording studio.
The MOTU MicroBook II USB audio interface is an impressively small 5.5 by 3.6 by 1.25 inches, which means that it slides easily into your backpack - or a large pocket. It also sits nicely next to your laptop or desktop computer.
The MicroBook II has been engineered with MOTU's renowned, award-winning audio interface technology, for uncompromising audio quality and rock-solid performance MOTU interfaces are known for worldwide. You can always record and mix with confidence, even in most demanding pro recording situations, knowing that decades of engineering experience are behind you, every step of the way. The MOTU MicroBook II delivers measured audio specs that rival interfaces costing hundreds more.
The MicroBook II USB interface can record and play all channels simultaneously, and high-speed USB 2.0 provides plenty of bandwidth, even at 96 kHz.
The two digital rotary encoders on the MicroBook II interface not only look good, they feel good, too. Push the volume knob repeatedly to cycle among the main outs, headphones, or both, as indicated by the LEDs. For the mic input, adjust trim and toggle 48V phantom power or the -20 dB pad. Hands-on control is immediate and intuitive.
Go ahead, plug in your $5,000 microphone. The MOTU MicroBook II's exceptionally transparent preamp faithfully preserves the characteristics and nuance of even the finest mics. Control trim, -20 dB pad and 48V phantom power from the digital rotary encoder on the top of the unit, or from the included CueMix FX software.
The MicroBook II USB audio interface's dedicated hi-Z DI guitar input provides high-impedance load characteristics suitable for passive and active pickups alike, to produce authentic guitar tone and feel with your guitar processing software.
The MOTU MicroBook II analog inputs are designed to be flexible, so that you can address a wide range of recording situations. The line inputs provide proper level matching for keyboards, analog mixers, effects processors, or other gear with either -10 dB or +4 dB reference level.
The MicroBook II audio interface provides a quarter-inch phone jack equipped with a high-end D/A converter for studio-grade headphones. All-around audio quality this good deserves pro headphones.
The MOTU MicroBook II preamp delivers clean sound, 60 dB of gain, and adjustments in approximately 1 dB increments using the top-panel digital encoder or the on-screen CueMix software. The gain adjustment itself is smooth because it is analog, but the digital control gives you both precision and the ability to save and recall trim settings. So you get the best of both worlds: analog trim with digital precision and control. Trim is adjusted at the input, before the mixer, so it applies to all mixes. Mix levels are controlled separately from trim, so you never sacrifice sound quality for a balanced mix.

MOTU's Track16 desktop recording interface gives you the quality, versatility, and expandability you need to build a reliable recording rig that can grow and adapt to your needs. Intended to fit into any small to midsize recording rig, MOTU designed the Track16 to keep your invaluable desk space clear, while giving you access to a full set of hands-on controls. Need to tweak mic input 1? With the push of a button, the Track16's large central button lets you grab the level you need. The same thing goes for every other input or output. And when you add in onboard effects and DSP mixing, you'll be absolutely astonished by what you can do with a MOTU Track16 desktop recording interface.
Flexible form factor fits any size or style of studio
MOTU knows that your studio is entirely what you make of it. That's why they designed their versatile Track16 recording interface to allow you to configure your system around an ever-changing layout. If you're working alone or with a collaborator, then the Track16's onboard analog I/O is more than enough. A breakout cable (included) lets you keep your desktop clear and your cables organized - a real bonus in any modest sized project studio. Of course, if you find yourself suddenly needing to track a full band, then the Track16's optical expansion ports let you instantly add up to eight additional channels of outboard gear. And when it's time to hit the road, just detach the breakout cable and go. Your laptop's FireWire port is all you need to power your Track16, giving you unfettered access to its amazing sound quality wherever your music takes you.
Loaded with the versatile I/O and control options you need
It's really quite impressive how much useful I/O MOTU managed to pack into their Track16 desktop recording interface. For instance, you can track vocals via one of the Track16's dual microphone preamplifiers, mic up a guitar cab with the other, capture that same guitar direct, run bass direct as well, and even record a stereo feed from a keyboard or drum machine - all at the same time! And that's just with the onboard I/O. And you still have eight additional channels of ADAT optical I/O left for expansion. And the best part is that you can instantly grab hold of any input or output level with a single push of a button via the Track16's simple top-panel controls, which totally streamlines your workflow.
CueMix FX lets you mix and add effects with zero latency
Another huge part of what the Track16 offers you is neatly tucked out of sight, hidden within the inner workings of this impressive desktop recording interface, namely, MOTU's advanced CueMix FX DSP mixing and processing system. If you've ever had to fight the effects of excessive latency as you tried to record, then you know what inspired MOTU to create this powerful system of onboard processing and signal routing. The way it works is simple. Using a straightforward software application, you can create up to eight totally independent monitor and routing mixes and add effects and processing to your inputs such as equalization, reverb, compression and more - all before your incoming signal hits your computer! That means with a MOTU Track16 and CueMix FX, you'll get the low-latency performance you need, no matter which DAW you prefer.
Control CueMix with your iPad
MOTU's CueMix FX software, the mixing software that drives the powerful routing of the Track 16, can be controlled from your iPad. MOTU created CueMix templates for the TouchOSC controller app, giving you complete control over your Track 16's mixing and effects processing over a Wi-Fi network. This means that when you're recording in your studio, you don't need to keep going back to your computer to adjust gain levels, change monitoring effects, or virtually anything else you rely on CueMix for.

In addition to the built-in 32-bit DSP effects provided by the UltraLite-mk4, the device ships with AudioDesk, a digital audio workstation for Mac and Windows which provides 24-bit recording, sample-accurate editing, and the ability to mix and master. The interface is class compliant—meaning no drivers are required in most cases—and can record audio at very low latencies.
The balanced, DC-coupled analog outputs achieve a measured dynamic range of 117 dB, rivaling the audio quality of interfaces at much higher price points. New, optimized drivers for Mac and Windows deliver ultra-low latency performance, with roundtrip latency (RTL) as low as 1.83 ms (with a 32-sample host buffer setting, operating at 96 kHz).
Expanded DSP doubles the available processing power (from the mk3) for the redesigned console-style mixer, which provides 48 inputs, 12 stereo busses and 32-bit floating point effects processing, including modeled analog EQ, vintage compression and classic reverb. Matrix routing lets you quickly patch ins to outs, or split inputs to multiple destinations. You can even take the UltraLite-mk4 on the go as a mobile mixer, controlling everything wirelessly from innovative web app software running on your iPad™, iPhone™, tablet, smartphone and laptop.
The UltraLite-mk4 connects to a computer through hi-speed USB 2.0 (compatible with USB 3.0) and records at sample rates up to 192 kHz. It is also USB audio class compliant, so you can connect it directly to an iPad using a standard camera connection kit (adapter) for multi-channel I/O with your favorite audio apps.
Like all MOTU audio interfaces, the UltraLite-mk4 includes a suite of audio analysis tools, including a full-screen real-time FFT display, spectrogram “waterfall” display, full-featured oscilloscope, X-Y plot and phase analyzer.

Ideal for producers and small bands who want to record audio from a wide range of sources, the Studio 1810c 192 kHz USB-C audio interface records up to 18 simultaneous inputs, including ADAT and S/PDIF, and features PreSonus® XMAX mic preamps, DC-coupled line outputs, and MIDI I/O. A complete, all-in-one recording package, the Studio 1810c offers control-room integration with included Studio One® Artist music production software and free UC Surface control software and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 connections.
With selectable 48V phantom power and four XMAX Class-A mic preamps fed via XLR-1/4" combo inputs, the Studio 1810c can accommodate any source, from condenser microphones and active DI boxes to electric instruments and line-level mixer outputs, with clarity and natural tonality. Utilize the four rear-panel 1/4" inputs to plug in outboard mic preamps or extra line-level sources directly to the A/D converters. All inputs and outputs feature quality converters that let the interface operate at up to 24-bit / 48 kHz resolution without sacrificing channel count, or at a 192 kHz sample rate with 8x6 I/O functionality.
Whether you use speakers, multiple headphones, or both, the Studio 1810c provides equally ideal operability with its two independent 1/4" headphone outputs, two main line/monitor outs, four additional line outputs, and separate volume controls for both headphone outs and the main output. The six line outputs are DC-coupled, so you can send MIDI sync and sequencer data from your DAW as CV (control voltage) to external analog synthesizers and drum modules.
The headphone mix can be sourced from outputs 1-2 or 3-4 via the A/B switch, a simple solution for getting a special cue mix to the artist. A quick press of the mute button cuts the main outputs, so you can communicate with clients in the room without shouting over the music. Unlike many budget interfaces, the Studio 1810c sports 4-segment LED meters for all four analog inputs and the main outs.
The 5-pin MIDI I/O jacks on the rear panel allow simple hookup of a MIDI controller, synthesizer, or groovebox, making the Studio 1810c advantageous for beatmakers, keyboardists, and electronic music producers. Also on the rear panel are RCA coaxial jacks, which are a welcome bonus for interconnecting digital audio equipment outfitted with S/PDIF digital I/O. Additional input expansion is possible by routing the digital output of an ADAT-equipped multichannel mic preamp into the TOSLINK optical input on the Studio 1810c.
The Studio 1810c is powered by the included 12 VDC power supply and is supplied with USB Type-C and USB Type-A cables for easy connectivity to your compatible macOS- or Windows-equipped computer. The interface is bundled with the robust and versatile Studio One Artist DAW software and the Studio Magic plug-in suite, delivering a host of effects, virtual instruments, and third-party loops, software, and instrument sounds to kickstart your creativity.
