Left in the closet for years, it still plays and comes with a Flight Case from A&S caes. In excellent physical condition
The KORG Poly-61 is a programmable polyphonic synthesizer released by Korg in 1982, as a successor to the Polysix. It was notable for being Korg's first "knobless" synthesizer - featuring a push-button interface for programming, dispensing from the Polysix's knobs and switches. The Poly-61 also moved to a hybrid tone-generation system, using digitally controlled analog oscillators or DCO's , in place of the Polysix' more retrograde VCOs.
The Ploy61 also retained the arpeggiator of the Polysix. The Poly-61 can provide cool gritty basses or trippy analog sounds and fx.
Also added is the familiar Korg joystick, which can be used to modulate the VCO or the VCF. However, its filter only has 7 steps of resonance and is not as fat as the Polysix's filter.
The Poly-61 offers two DCOs per voice. DCO1 provides sawtooth, pulse, and PWM waveforms. DCO2 has only sawtooth and square.
The filter has the typical controls for cutoff, resonance, keyboard tracking and envelope amount. Some of these are rather limited by the poor parameter resolution. Keyboard tracking is simply "on" or "off" for example, and resonance and envelope level (here labelled "EG Intensity") have only 8 values.
The final component in the audio path is a VCA. It can be driven by the envelope generator or a CV/Gate pulse.
NEC D8049C - 8 bits, 11 MHz (max.), 40 pins (DIP), Supply Voltage = 5V
There are 2 of them on the CPU board (KLM-509), one is a Programmer and the other is an Assigner.
The 8049 has 2 kB of masked ROM as well as 128 bytes of RAM and 27 I/O ports. The µC's oscillator block divides the incoming clock into 15 internal phases, thus with its 11 MHz max. crystal, one gets 0.73 MIPS (of one-clock instructions). Some 70% of instructions are single byte/cycle, but 30% need two cycles and/or two bytes, so raw performance is closer to 0.5 MIPS. The minimum instruction length is 8 bits and the maximum instruction length is 16 bits.
The envelope is an ADSR type. All parameters can only be set to one of 16 values.
There are 6 SSM-2056 analog envelope generator chips used in the Poly 61, each being controlled by discrete 4-bit D/A converters. This means there are only 16 possible settings for each of the ADSR parameters.
The LFO (known as a 'modulation generator' on the Poly-61) is a simple triangle wave that can be routed to the DCOs or VCF. It has a variable delay before it is triggered.
$799.00The LinnDrum had 15 drum sounds sampled from real drums played for the machine specifically by noted Los Angeles drummer Art Wood, good friend of Roger Linn who also played with Linn as well as Peter Frampton, Gary Wright, Cher, Tina Turner, Bette Midler and James Brown to name a few.The LM-2, provided a sequencer for programming rhythm patterns, a built-in mixer and individual output jacks for each sound.
Improvements on the LM-1 included the addition of crash and ride cymbal samples, five external trigger inputs and the ability to replace the built-in sounds with new sounds on EPROM chips.
Tuning controls are provided for snare, hi, mid and lo toms, and hi and lo congas. Range is approximately one octave. Decay time adjust for the closed hi hat is also provided
The sequencer had some innovative features (for the time) such as swing, quantizing and memory storage! Two-bar patterns can be recorded in real or step time, with or without quantizing. There are 56 user patterns for storing your drum patterns. There are also 42 preset drum patterns. Patterns can be arranged into Songs for which there are 49 memory locations. Old songs and patterns can be off-loaded to cassette tape for storage. Designed for the studio, there are 15 individual outputs for each sound around the back as well as external sync and trigger but no MIDI (unless modified by a 3rd party). The LinnDrum's features made it the most professional drum machine of its time. It was widely used throughout the 1980s and there are about 5,000 of them which have been used by professionals (such as Sting, Prince, Jean-Michel Jarre, Sheila E., Todd Rundgren, Jimmy Edgar, Jan Hammer, Peter Gabriel), hobbyists, and educators alike!
JLCooper MIDI Retro fit

$2,200.00The USB MIDISPORT 2x2 is a multi-port MIDI interface for USB-equipped PC and Apple computers. MIDISPORT's high-speed USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection to the computer assures reliable, immediate MIDI transfers. Installation is a breeze -- no computer disassembly, no jumpers to set, no I/O Addresses, IRQ's or DMA channels to configure! Expansion is just as easy -- just plug in additional MIDISPORT units for more MIDI ports.

The DPM SX is a dedicated sampling front-end for the DPM SP (which cannot sample by itself). Since the SX supports SMDI and MIDI Sample Dump Standard, it is conceivably of use to owners of other sample-based instruments. The SX has its own sample RAM, with a maximum of 16MB. However, it only samples in mono; the later SX II will sample in stereo, and will even sample directly into a SP's RAM using SCSI. This is your chance to add some classic rack gear to your rig! No reserve! Don't pass this by!
$75.00This Peavey SP Sample Player is in good condition. Comes from a smoke free studio.
This is a store demo unit that is in good condition. The SCSI Sysquest/CD Rom drive is used. The library is Peavey's factory library of 50 disks. The winner of the auction can choose what floppies he wants from the 200 disk library. I have more disks available so if you have a SP and want more sounds, contact me. It's got version 2.10 software with 26 megs of ram so it can read AKAI DISKS
Selling a working in good condition minus cigarette burns Rhodes Mark I Suitcase piano built in 1977.
Here's some info about this vintage electric piano. An instrument that defined Jazz, Pop and Rock hits from the 60s to now.
73 keys with a Neoprene hammer tips amd plastic hammer combs with the original curved cams and pedestal felts.
Suitcase Piano's amplifier is a FR7710 amp was now 100W stereo (2 x 50W), with pairs of 1/4" inputs and outputs for running the piano's signal to and from a mixing console. The FR7710 amp was also packaged as a standalone upright cabinet known as the Janus I System. These amps could be used as an upgrade for the Stage Piano (replacing the previous Super Satellite system), or to triple the Suitcase Piano's output by sending the Preamp Output channels to a pair of Janus cabinets(!) for an effective 300W RMS.
On the front panel, a pair of sliders for EQ and individual knobs to control the rate (Speed) and depth (Intensity) of the Vibrato effect. The 1/4" Accessory jacks functioned as a send (#1) and return (#2) for an effects loop.
Also includes are the accessories in the picture.
$1,800.00From a smoke free studio. One owner, great condition.

The Roland R8 was one of the very best drum machines ever. It has excellent sounds which can be expanded by adding additional sound cards (808 and 909 cards). Great rock, electronic, ethnic and industrial style drumkits! Most of the sounds are editable - tune, decay, attack, nuance, output, etc...
But its coolest tricks are the Feel Patches which give your program a human-like groove! The sounds are ROM based samples, the R-8 has 32 note polyphony, 68 instruments, 100 patterns and 10 songs! The R-8 later became the R-8mkII with more memory and sounds. It is used by Orbital, Underworld, Jimmy Edgar, Autechre, 808 State, Dave Holmes, Fluke, Human League and The Shamen.
