DESCRIPTION

Samson Airline 77 UHF TD Wireless with Qe Fitness Headset, Frequency 645.750

Super Secure Headset Allows You to Move Freely!

Looking to cut the cord? Samson's Airport 77 wireless system gives you the freedom to move with no restrictions. The True Diversity receiver and wireless headset offer cable-free transmission of singing or speech with no compromise in sound quality.

CR77 Receiver

At the heart of the system, the Concert 77 receiver operates in the UHF spectrum for interference-free use. Where VHF systems are more susceptible to bleed-over from local radio frequencies, the CR77 stays locked onto the transmitter for crystal-clear sound. Samson brings this normally expensive UHF technology to the working musician at a price to fit any touring budget.

True Diversity Operation

To prevent dropouts, Samson uses True Diversity technology for the Concert receiver. In essence, there are two independent receivers within the unit, each with its own antenna. Both receivers track the transmitter, and the system constantly checks to see which one has the strongest signal. If a dropout is encountered, the CR77 is free to switch to the other antenna, so the performance remains uninterrupted. Choppy audio is distracting to the audience, and will pull their attention away from your message. With the Airport system, you can communicate with no obstructions.

Front-Panel Controls

The large front-panel volume knob controls the incoming audio level, while the squelch knob sets the RF signal-strength. Dual LED meters let you monitor the performance of both. In small spaces, you can clamp down on the squelch control to get the strongest possible radio signal. At larger venues where the mixing equipment is far from the stage, loosen up on the squelch to increase the range. The CR77 is capable of picking up signals as far as 300-feet away. All this control lets you custom-tailor your wireless system for each new location on the tour. You can be sure you're getting the best possible performance, wherever you use it.

Rear-Panel Connectivity

Rear-panel connections allow for easy integration into any sound system. The unbalanced, high-impedance 1/4-inch jack is well-suited to consumer-grade electronics such as boom-boxes and karaoke machines. For pro-quality mixers and PA systems, the balanced, low-impedance XLR output is the best choice. Regardless of your amplification options, the Airport 77 adds flawless wireless performance.

Rackmountable Organization

The CR77 receiver's compact, half-rackspace housing is unobtrusive and easily moved to accommodate any sound-reinforcement layout. You can also secure it in a rack with Samson's optional mounting kit. This kit holds up to two receivers from the Stage 5, Stage 55, AirLine 77, and Concert 77 series, with a side-by-side configuration that only takes up a single rack space. When multiple wireless systems are used together, it can be a challenge to remember which receiver is associated with a particular transmitter. If you change a setting on the wrong receiver, not only have you not fixed the original problem, you probably caused a new one. With the rackmount kit, you can keep your wireless gear organized and make instant adjustments to the correct receiver. Six separate frequency channels are available for purchase, so be sure to choose a different channel for each transmitter when using multiple systems.

Innovative Micro-Transmitters

The receiver is rock-solid, but that's only half the story. It's the Airport micro-transmitters that really stand out. This unique technology, a first in the industry, eliminates the need for wired bodypacks! Most wireless transmitters use a thin cable between the microphone or instrument and the transmitter. While no physical connection exists between the transmitter and receiver, there's still a cable in the system. If the bodypack cable isn't long enough, it can pull a lavalier or headset microphone away from your mouth and reduce audio quality. Instrument bodypacks, often clipped to a guitar or bass strap, are notorious for sliding out of position or coming completely undone. If you haven't taken precautions, the weight of the pack alone is often enough to pull the cable out of the instrument jack and disrupt the sound altogether. In any case, the cable can distract both the performer and the audience, and interfere with the message. Airport transmitters have no cables at all. They are small enough to mount directly to the instrument plug or microphone system for total comfort and freedom of movement. Headset and lavalier mics will never be yanked out of position, and instrument transmitters stay right where they belong. They are so efficient, a single AAA battery will broadcast your message for up to 12 hours. Be as outrageous and dynamic as you like, and your airport system is right there with you.

AirLine Headset and Qe Microphone

The Concert 77 works with any Airport transmitter, but this system includes an AirLine headset with the Qe fitness microphone. Unlike most "top-worn" headset devices, the AirLine goes behind the head and over the ears. The micro-transmitter sits out-of-sight on the rear-band, delivering your words with no distractions. The frame is completely adjustable to sit firmly in place, regardless of your activity level. Coupled with the Qe fitness mic, you have the perfect solution for aerobics instructors. Bend and twist, shout encouragement, and your students will stay motivated. The mic capsule is made of corrosion-resistant, waterproof material to provide reliable performance in humid health-club environments. It also works well in less-harsh conditions for lecturers, singers, and any other vocal broadcasting use.
