Bourbaki FracTunes The 21st Century Light Organ

The Light Organ from the 60s was a device that turned on different colored lights in response to music. It's is back and is spectaular as Bourbaki's FracTunes

It provides a musical kaleidoscope for performing or hobbyist MIDI musicians and computer game fans.

Easy enough for a child to use, FracTunes represents a marriage of digital music and computer generated images, in an amazing and wondrous New Art Form.

Originally developed to animate fractal images generated by FracTools and FraxZoom fractal programs, FracTunes can be used to animate PCX graphic image files that you create in any of the popular Paint programs like Publisher's Paint Brush by ZSoft.

FracTunes has two modes of operation, Live and Sequenced. In the Live mode, what you play animates the images. In Sequenced mode, you can play back Standard MIDI , Sound Blaster or AdLib sequence song files that you created or acquired to animate the images. You can even play along with your sequences.

FracTunes automatically optimizes and maps notes to the 16 colors in the different regions creating dynamically changing patterns in response to music.

Create self running Slide Shows that change images and colors with the flow of the music. Create your own fractal music videos!
