Prime Studio® Prime Compressor

Due to its characteristically sounding compression, one of the rarest and highest sought after tools in the analog domain has been model for Prime Studio® Compressor. Yet having an easy and fast to set up tool giving your tracks warmth and punch only vintage audio gear can offer, now you have the spice available which has been missing in your sound kitchen.

Offering total control over input and output signals and gain reduction by vintage style VU meters you can fine tune your sound using makeup gain, hold and recovery controls as well as swithcing the unit from acting as a compressor or limiter. Single channel treatment, parallel compression or even used on your master bus Prime Studio® Compressor will enhance your tracks.

Use the „ECO“ switch for deactivating the preamp stages saving CPU power. Included is also a „Live“ version which is lighter on CPU bypassing the harmonic distortion functionality completely and a „Zero Latency“ version when used in your tracking setup.

Prime Studio® Prime Curve

To complete the console channel, used in combination with Prime Studio® Prime Mix and Prime Studio® Compressor, Curve offers additional bass and presence frequencies of musical sounding 500, 800, 1.200, 1.800, 2.800, 4.200, 6.500 and 10.000 Hz alongside harmonic preamp distortion being set with the input level knob. Always stay in control of your signal levels using the VU style input and output meters.

Prime Studio® Prime Mix

Have you always wanted to sculpt your tracks with the sound of a unique, purpose-built and extremely rare seventies classic mixer? Inspired by an unique historical recording console still used daily at Prime Studio® Control Room "C", Prime Mix offers harmonic preamp distortion measured by six different analog console channels. Simply switch between channels 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 when using Prime Mix on different tracks to achieve the same character as summing up the signals on a vintage analog console summing the tone of slightly different sounding channels.

Measured pan and fader characteristics as well as a soft and punchy bass equalizer and a high pass filter complete this great sounding tool. Use the "ECO" switch to disable preamplifier stages and protect the CPU. With VU-style input and output meters, you always have control over your levels.
