The IRCAM Studio bundle includes products which are the result of over twenty years of research in the realm of music related digital signal processing.

Ircam and Flux present you with a series of products evolved from two major fields of technology, Acoustic & Cognitive Spaces, and Sound Analysis & Synthesis.

The IRCAM Studio bundle includes Verb V3, an algorithmic room acoustics and reverberation processor, Verb Session v3, which reproduces and synthesizes the specific acoustical characteristics of any spatial sound environment and Trax, hree ingenious processors that provide truly innovative signal transformation algorithms allowing the user to alter sound characteristics such as pitch, timbre and duration, using a highly intuitive user interface.

Ircam Trax v3

Three ingenious voice and sonic processors, Transformer, Cross Synthesis and Source Filter, for altering pitch, spectral timbre and duration to manipulate properties of a voice such as gender, age and breath.

  • Transformer – Real-time Voice and Sonic Modelling Processor
  • Input/Output Gain (Transformer) -60/+18 dB
  • Dry/Wet mix control (Transformer) – For mixing in unprocessed signal with the processed signal.

Cross Synthesis – Spectral Envelope Morphing Processor

  • Oversampling adjusts the oversampling factor
  • Overlap controls how often the analysis is updated for a given window size

Preset and Parameter Handling

  • Preset/Parameter slots
  • To enhance the workflow the two Preset/Parameter slots, A and B, can be loaded with two full set of parameters at the same time. Apart from saving each preset, a “Global Preset” containing both the A and B settings, and the position of the “Morphing Slider”, can be saved.

Ircam Verb Session v3

Ircam Verb v3 technology, quick and simplistic workflow to achieve great results instantly, ultimate reverb solution for seasoned demanding engineers and mixers.

All Features

  • Up to 2 channels Input/Output.
  • Input/Output gain controls for adjusting the levels before and after processing.
  • Dry/Wet control for blending the original signal with the processed signal.
  • Decay Time adjusting the duration of the reverberation tail in seconds.

IRCAM State of the art room acoustics simulation and reverberation, advanced perceptive models providing an intuitive user experience.

  • Up to 10 channels Input/Output with support for Dolby Atmos
  • Pro Tools HD 7.1.2 & 7.0.2 Dolby Atmos Bus Support
  • Channel Routing Matrix for routing the I/O channels depending on the actual control room monitor setup (for surround/multichannel use).
  • Input/Output Gain (-/+ 12 dB) for adjusting the levels before and after processing.

A graphic card fully supporting OpenGL 2.0 is required.

  • Mac OS X: OpenGL 2.0 required - Mac Pro 1.1 & Mac Pro 2.1 are not supported.

Software Licence Requirements

In order to use the software one of the following alternatives is required

  • An iLok.com user account (the iLok USB Smart Key is not required).
