Paying homage to the great vintage string synthesizers of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, EastWest's String Machine virtual instrument brings the past into the future. Produced by sound titans Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix, String Machine includes samples from some of the greats – the ARP Solina, Oberheim OBX, Roland RS-505, and the Roland Jupiter 6 – and allows you to instantly combine them with modern strings, brass, woodwinds, and vocals to create unique vintage vibes perfect for your next pop, rock, or hip-hop masterpiece.
String Machine’s user interface takes inspiration from the design of vintage string machine synthesizers. From the chunky instrument switches adorned along the front panel, to the glide of envelope sliders, and the click of push buttons, String Machine’s form and function is informed by the original hardware units.
String Machines were well known for their ensemble chorus effects, and the one included in String Machine features 3 modes, each with distinct characteristics. With effect emulations modeled from the ARP Solina, and Roland VP-330 hardware units, along with a ‘Modern’ mode, our Ensemble Chorus effect delivers everything from vintage warmth and thickness, to modern transparency and dimension.
String Machine’s use is flexible, owing to its hybrid design of electronic and acoustic instruments. It fits right at home in a variety of genres, electronic or otherwise, but especially suitable for genres heavy on retro nostalgia, like chillwave or pop. Any piece of music that needs a large ensemble string pad would benefit by using String Machine.
String Machine features 4 color-coded instrument sections, including string machines and pads (red), string sections (green), solo woodwinds and brass (teal), and choirs and solo vocals (orange). Each instrument section features a number of instruments and alternatives, giving you countless ways to combine them into a diverse range of timbres, and the ease of mixing the individual instrument sections together to create rich, multi-layered pads.
String Machine comes with a small number of presets that demonstrate the type of sounds possible with String Machine, but we strongly encourage you to use String Machine as it was intended — creating your own presets with the interface controls, sliders, rocker switches, and ALT buttons — make them your own!

EUNKLANG Expanded contains Einklang (acoustic to synthetic). + Red (synth/lead), Green (accoustic/live) Blue (drone/pad) plus the Black (dark/ambient premium) and White(energetic/uplifting premium) tone packs for a total of 750 tone colors.
EINKLANG is a synthesizer following a complete new paradigm of sound generation. Instead of synthesizing sounds like traditional synthesizers according to a set of technical parameters (i.e. amplitudes, frequencies, spectra...), EINKLANG re-synthesizes sounds using instrument models. These instrument models can not only be tweaked directly in their musical parameters (i.e. loudness, pitch, timbre...) but also be morphed from one tone color to another. These key features allow the user to think in plain sounds rather than mathematical equations and to control EINKLANG with few but very powerful musical parameters. The instrument models are based on Artificial Intelligence Studio Technology (AIST) that allows synthesizers to understand the structures of sounds, and remember specific nuances of different instruments. So the musician can concentrate on musical aspects, while the synthesizer does all of the underlying technical processing.
EINKLANG's graphical user interface (GUI) stands out with its sleek and intuitive design. Located on the right side, you find the triangle morphing field. This remarkable feature empowers you to morph between three different tone colors, with ease. Located on the left side you find musical parameters for controlling the instrument models and the synthesized sounds. The parameters are arranged in three usefull groups: loudness, timbre and modulation. Every parameter can be controlled by MIDI and recorded in a DAW (e.g. Ableton Live, Steinberg Cubase/Nuendo, Apple Logic, and many others).
Morph Triangle
The morph triangle has three slots for tone colors, one in each corner. The colored gem inside the morph triangle can be moved around and determines the morph ratio for the three tone colors to form a new one. This is similar to a painter mixing a new color from three existing colors on his palette. When placed in one of the corners the corresponding tone color is heard solo. When slid along the sides of the triangle only two tone colors are morphed excluding the third one.
Think Sound - Think Music
Morph a choir to a flute, or a guitar to a French horn, or anything you can imagine. For example, if you have a specific organ sound in mind, just take the 3 closest ones and morph around until you find your perfect personal setting. Without having to dig into organ draw bar theory. Or think of a synthesizer you really like the sound of but don't want to learn all of its controls? Just take three sounds you like most and place them in each slot. Morph around, let EINKLANG's engine take care of the specific synthesizer's theoretical background. Find your very own sound and change it in real time while you play.
Re-inventing the triangle
The triangle in its unique simplicity can be divided into infinite self-similar sub-shapes. Important points in the morphing relation between different tone colors can be represented in distinctive geometrical positions. The triangle is the only geometric shape that allows you to morph three tone colors in any ratio. Other more complex shapes and approaches fail to achieve this and only produce a sound mess in their mid-position.
Different sounds create different colors
EINKLANG is the first synthesizer to introduce a strong synesthetic link between sound and color. It enables you to morph one sound into any other, just as white light is able to travel through the entire color spectrum in additive color synthesis. While using the morphing field, all GUI controls adapt in color. When you morph three tone colors together as one, everything is illuminated in pure white. It's all in EINKLANG.
Musical Parameters
The Artificial Intelligence Studio Technology used in EINKLANG's instrument models is capable of understanding the structures of sounds, and remembering specific nuances of different instruments. This enables you to change them more realistically. E.g. lowering the pitch of a cello affects its timbre completely differently than lowering the pitch of a French horn. EINKLANG's instrument models are not static, as you may know examples from traditional synthesizers or samplers, but very lively and responsive to pitch and velocity changes on your keyboard.
Timbre
EINKLANG lets you individually tweak any of the created sounds in terms of their musical qualities. Change the Harmonicity of any harmonic sound. Turn a choir singing, into a choir whispering or transform a woodwind sound into a waterfall. Detune your electric piano by turning up the Dissonance, giving it a classic honky tonk effect. You can even detune a single string of a cello in itself, meaning: detuning its overtones - something physically impossible for monophonic one-dimensional resonators such as a single string.
Loudness and Modulation
Even EINKLANG's parameters that seem familiar to you, like the Loudness envelope and the Modulation section, affect the sounds in greater depth than you would expect, thanks to EINKLANGs powerful AIST engine.
Take your string sound and make it pizzicato, by turning up the Percussion. Increase the Modulation of your sound. EINKLANG's engine knows and applies the natural ratio of vibrato and tremolo for each sound, while traditional synthesizers just throw an LFO onto the signal's frequency and amplitude.
Generally speaking, what takes dozens of technical knobs in traditional synthesizers can be done with one in EINKLANG.

VIER
VIER emulates four units of the Doepfer MS-404, a famous German monophonic analogue synthesizer from the nineties. Even today the MS-404 has a large fan base and is not only known to insiders. Since the original MS-404 was monophonic, being able to play four units polyphonic at the same time, VIER fulfills a childhood dream for many musicians. The software uses up-to-date technologies for its synthesis engine like anti-aliasing oscillators which are capable of audio range modulation and zero delay feedback filters best known from synthesizers like LuSH, Monark or Diva.
PARAMETER LINKING & VOICE MANAGEMENT
VIER offers a wide range of options for parameter linking and cross modulation. All parameters may freely be grouped and linked with each other. An intelligent voice management dynamically assigns pressed keys and played notes to the different units. Both features enable sound opportunities that go far beyond the plain emulation of a vintage synthesizer or just the sum of four parts.
The parameter linking allows building groups which can be manipulated and modulated by macro parameters together. This offers a fast access to the most important sound properties and allows operating the four units as one monolithic piece. The intelligent voice management offers different creative play modes which especially allow an automatic assignment of each note in a chord to the four different units. Each of the units themselves can of course be operated with unlimited polyphony.
PRESET CONTROL AND FAVORITES
VIER contains a broad variety of factory presets that may be loaded, adjusted and saved or marked as favorites. Furthermore, the user may create, save and load own presets.

For FabFilter One, They put tremendous effort in creating the best cut-off filter ever. Their new design approach has resulted in the fattest and smoothest self-oscillating digital filter you have ever heard. It has been tuned carefully to achieve the character and warmth of a classic analog synthesizer. FabFilter One’s filter sounds raw but never cheap or ‘digital’, even at full resonance.
The filter is fed by an equally high-quality solid-sounding oscillator, developed from scratch to be completely aliasing-free. It features sawtooth, triangle, and square wave forms with pulse width modulation.
The oscillator and the filter can be modulated by the LFO and the EG. The LFO offers triangle and square wave forms, with adjustable wave balance so any wave form between sawtooth and triangle can be selected. The tempo can be synchronized to the host. The EG has the usual ADSR knobs, but with a perfectly fine-tuned feel. Also, it has an additional Hold setting that extends the time keys are held down.
What FabFilter One excels at is the attention to detail and fine-tuning that is visible throughout the plug-in. For example, the portamento feature doesn't just slide from one note to another, but uses a carefully selected algorithm to make your playing more lively and give it just that little extra bit of magic.
Smart Parameter Interpolation handles changes to any of FabFilter One's parameters, ensuring both responsiveness and smooth transitions. There are no annoying digital clicks and zipper effects, and even MIDI controller changes are handled perfectly smooth.
Naturally, the FabFilter One plug-in handles all parameter changes at sample accuracy and it can be used with arbitrary sample rates. All parameters are fully automatable within your favorite host and via MIDI Learn. The included help file describes all features of FabFilter One in detail, together with overviews and tutorials to create various types of sounds.
Need more sound design options? Try FabFilter Twin 2! With all the XLFOs, envelope generators, envelope followers and MIDI sources you will ever need, Twin 2 offers endless modulation possibilities. Setting up new modulation connections is easy with the drag-and-drop modulation matrix.

Multiband compression and expansion are powerful tools, but notoriously difficult to set up and control. Enter FabFilter Pro-MB: making multiband dynamics processing intuitive yet powerful at the same time.
Instead of conventionally splitting the entire spectrum with crossovers, Pro-MB enables you to directly create a new band at the frequency range you want to work on. Think bands, not crossovers!
The interactive multiband display clearly shows that the rest of the spectrum stays untouched. And if desired, you can easily snap bands together to recreate a traditional crossover system.
FabFilter Pro-MB introduces a unique Dynamic Phase processing mode. It has virtually the same frequency response as traditional multiband processing, but doesn't introduce latency or pre-ringing, and only introduces minor phase changes when the gain actually changes. Of course, we have also included an excellent Linear Phase mode and a traditional Minimum Phase mode.
The powerful combination of high quality processing, optimized workflow using the interactive multiband display and all the expert features you need, makes Pro-MB both a lifesaver and timesaver!
A brickwall limiter is an essential tool for every mastering or mixing engineer. Are you looking for a professional, feature-packed limiter that is loud and transparent at the same time? Then FabFilter Pro-L is your weapon of choice!

In addition to regular input, output and gain change meters, Pro-C offers a knee display and an animated compression display, which gives you a great insight in when, why, and how compression is applied to the audio signal.
Even when using the best mics, pre-amps and converters, sibilance in vocal recordings can easily get over-accentuated during post-processing like compression or saturation. But don't worry, FabFilter Pro-DS comes to the rescue!
With its highly intelligent 'Single Vocal' detection algorithm, FabFilter Pro-DS accurately identifies sibilance in vocal recordings and attenuates it transparently. When using the 'Allround' mode, Pro-DS becomes a great tool for high-frequency limiting of any material, like drums or even full mixes. Try it out yourself!
FabFilter Pro-DS offers everything you need to get the best result possible, presented in a simple and easy-to-use interface. FabFilter Simplon is a simplified version of FabFilter Volcano 2 with two independent multimode filters providing low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass responses with 12/24/48 dB/octave slopes. The filters can be used in serial or parallel mode.
Originally developed for FabFilter One, Simplon's filters were designed from the ground up to be the fattest and smoothest self-oscillating digital filters possible. Simplon's filters sound raw but never cheap or ‘digital’, even at full resonance.
Each filter offers three different filter characteristics that define the unique sound and overdrive of the filter. They range from smooth filters with moderate overdrive to raw, self-oscillating over-the-top madness!
In combination with the response and slope settings, FabFilter Simplon offers up to 27 different filter types.
Tweak the filters with Simplon's large interactive filter display that shows both filter curves and lets you drag them around. You can adjust the filters separately or both at the same time.

Future Audio Workshop believes in the social and personal benefits that a love of music brings. Their mission is to help spread the playing, producing and listening of music, through the medium of computer technology. This manifests itself in the software they create. Formed in 2007, FAW's headquarters are in Galway, Ireland, with an office also operating in Berlin, Germany.
Based on research conducted between FAW and the audio research group at Maynooth University, Circle² brings you a new type of synthesis: Vector Phase Shaping. Completely unique to Circle². It features four oscillators with the traditional choice of waveforms, along with additional noise and feedback oscillators. The filter also supports the traditional filter shapes and can be modulated using the two reassignable envelope generators. LFOs and effects round out the feature set, with the rewritten audio engine delivering improved low end depth and increased high frequency clarity.
Fully Re-written Audio Engine
Circle² comes with a fully re-written audio engine. Better tone with improved low-end depth and increased high frequency clarity. New factory sounds packed full of future leaning sounds.
Retina Ready
Circle²'s interface is fully retina display ready. Brings a vibrancy and clarity that is unseen in other software instruments.
Design Sounds Visually
Simply move the color-coded circles around the interface to start creating your own unique sounds. Preview a connection by hovering a circle beneath a knob. Explore sound in an intuitive way.

Syntronik is a cutting-edge virtual synthesizer that raises the bar in sound quality and flexibility thanks to the most advanced sampling techniques combined with a new hybrid sample and modeling synthesis engine. Syntronik includes 17 amazing instruments, available as a collection or separately, with over 2,100 preset sounds covering a wide selection from 38 of the most iconic to ultra-rare and painstakingly multi-sampled vintage synthesizers. Syntronik’s synthesis engine goes well beyond traditional sampling thanks to a brand new analog modeled filter section created with the utmost expertise from IK, the pioneer in virtual circuit modeling. This is coupled with exclusive DRIFT™ technology to accurately reproduce the behavior of oscillators from real hardware synths. All of this combined with an effects section that is unrivaled in the world of virtual instruments along with advanced features like 4-part Multis, splits and arpeggiators make Syntronik the ultimate source of inspiration with the widest palette of synthesizer sounds ranging from exact reproductions of the originals to sounds never heard before that will stand out from the crowd in productions covering any genre and style.

Syntronik includes the following 38 amazing synths and string machines offering more than 2,100 instrument presets:
In order to achieve highly flexible sound manipulation while maintaining the same exact sound of the original hardware, we evolved our synth engine to include circuit-level filter models of 4 of the best sounding machines of all time: Moog transistor ladder, (found in the Minimoog and Modular Moog), Roland's IR3109 chip (found in the Jupiter-8 and Juno-60), the famous Curtis CEM3320 chip (found in the Prophet-5 and Oberheim OB-Xa) and the Oberheim SEM state variable filter.
This hybrid architecture allows for a pristine reproduction of the most critical section of every synthesizer. Plus, every filter is selectable within each included synthesizer, enabling users to create their own combinations by mixing or matching at will, like using a Moog filter on an Oberheim oscillator to produce entirely new original sounds that stand out from the crowd! Syntronik also provides powerful digital filters like Formant and Phase filters that can take the analog source oscillators into new sonic dimensions.
Syntronik also includes all new “DRIFT” technology that breathes more life into the sampled oscillators themselves. Typically sample-based synthesizers have the limitation of having always the same exact sample attack, something that does not happen in their true hardware counterparts. IK’s DRIFT technology varies the phase, color and pitch of the sampled oscillators to keep them moving just like the real analog oscillators do. Much more than simple detuning or even multiple-source modulation, DRIFT emulates the way real analog circuits behave over time. The result is the unmistakable sound of analog that is the origin of any classic synthesizer sound.
In order to get the most out of Syntronik, you don’t need to be an expert in synth programming. In fact, all models share consistent easy-to-use controls that will make custom sound tailoring and editing a breeze, even for “non-geeks.” We have also designed 17 dedicated interfaces which look and feel like the original panels to make your sound tweaking experience even more inspirational.
When it comes to high-quality effects, IK's expertise is simply indisputable. Syntronik comes with 38 mind-blowing effects which are derived from our best-selling T-RackS mix and mastering suite and AmpliTube guitar workstation. We have also designed some new ones like the famous Ensemble Chorus, for a total number of effects that you won’t find in any other vintage synth collection of its kind. 5 effects can be simultaneously inserted on every instrument via a new attractive “lunchbox-style” interface that allows for an immediate visualization and editing of every parameter from within a single, convenient interface. You can quickly arrange the effects in the chain by just dragging and dropping the modules to the desired position, making it easier to audition different processing combinations on the selected sound. You can also save your custom effect chains as presets for use on other sounds in other projects. Likewise, if you come up with an interesting effect chain, you can engage the lock feature and instantly try it in combination with different sounds by just browsing through the collection.
Syntronik capabilities go way beyond what a single synthesizer can do. Its streamlined interface allows for quick layering and combining of up to 4 different synthesizer parts that can make a true “wall of sound”. An easy to use layering interface allows for quick mapping and playing sounds simultaneously as well as creating advanced splits for maximum flexibility and a full-blown performance. Multis can be saved and recalled with ease, further defining Syntronik as the most powerful vintage synthesizer virtual instrument to date.
Syntronik’s 4 synthesizer parts feature a powerful note and chord arpeggiator, each with its own assignable range and settings as well as the ability to store them for instant recall. This allows you to build complex rhythmic textures and sequences with extreme ease and mind-blowing effectiveness.
Included instruments:
Syntronik is a 64-bit Plug-in. Requires a 64 bit CPU and Operating System.
Internet connection is required as all of the Custom Shop operations are web based.
