The Brentrsons is one Norwegian family, 3 generations of musicians, a band that spans over 100 years of traditional Norwegian dance music. A rare treat of warm, authentic instumental music which will set your feet to dancing and your face to smiling. A first rate recording featuring several generations of the Berntson family joined by Grammy nominee fiddle players Loretta Kelly and Andrea Hoag
Loretta Kelly and Andrea Hoag contributed fiddle parts to this delightful CD project, The Berntsons, with Eleanor Lundeberg playing the same 1916 Beckwith pump organ for the last 72 years and her son Karl on guitar, mandolin, banjo, and bass. The tunes on the CD are from the Berntson Family Band: Eleanor's father and his family and friends, who played at Norwegian-American dance halls in Wisconsin in the 1940s.
